As an experienced and competent consultant, the role holder will be a key fee generator and provide management support within a consulting team.
Will also operate as a more senior member of the consulting team, by providing advice and guidance to others and coaching new or less experienced members of the team where appropriate.
As a consultant, the role is responsible for running recruitment campaigns for customers within a particular sector. The role is highly customer facing, sales oriented and target driven. The role holder operates independently and is involved in all areas of campaigns, from the initial sourcing of job opportunities, filling vacancies, through to pitching for retainer business.
The role holder will have a comprehensive knowledge of principles and concepts in own function, and a sound understanding of the external frameworks, policies and procedures that affect the legal market. The role holder will have a sound knowledge of the functional consulting skills such as customer liaison, selling techniques, effective customer briefing, business development, interviewing and facilitation of meetings.
The role holder will apply these skills to ensure the generation of significant fees for the sector team. The Role Holder should be fluent in Speaking and writing Russian, also an understanding of Russian business culture would be advantageous .
• Business Expertise
The role holder should have a sound knowledge of the structure of Hudson and the recruitment business. Needs to understand how personal and team contribution impacts the success of the business. The role holder will typically have firm knowledge of the legal sector as well as will be able to generate, create and convert business opportunities through both existing contacts and cold calling.
• Leadership .
The role holder will provide technical leadership and guidance to others and may be involved in coaching new or less experienced members of the team. They may also take on a mentoring role, and will lead by example. The role holder my also be involved in the recruitment and development process for the team. May delegate work to others within own area.
• Problem Solving
The role Holder solves problems by making judgements based on the analysis of factual information in relatively straightforward situations. Will also make reference to established procedures and precedents. Will often have to deal with issues arising from customers and therefore will need to ensure problems are solved quickly and effectively, causing minimum disruption to the customer.
• Impact on Business Results: Most of the impact directly relates to the quality and efficiency of the service provided. Fee income will also have an impact upon the business. The impact will typically be restricted to the area within which the role works. However, the role can impact other functions/results within wider business areas, for example through cross referrals
• Communication: The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at different levels. Will persuade and influence customers and will be required to build relationships with customers.
However, also needs that confidence and resilience to be adept at 'cold calling' in order to foster new relationships. The role holder will assist individuals, groups and senior staff in decision making by providing clear and factual information. Need to clearly communicate information both verbally and in written form to non-technical people, identifying key issues and ensuring audience understanding through explanation and assistance with its interpretation. Acts as an ambassador for Hudson Legal externally.
