What we do

In our Tax Dispute Resolution Group we help our clients to mitigate the negative tax consequences that a company may face in various circumstances, and our specialists accomplish this by both developing detailed defense strategies and presenting them to the court and tax authorities in a tactically effective way.

Responsibilities

• Participation in the following assignments:
• Assistance to companies during tax audits and prior to litigation;
• Representation of the company’s interests during the tax litigation process;
• Advising the client company regarding cooperation with government authorities in respect of tax legislation application
• Preparation of client deliverables, reports, proposals, contracts and other project-related documentation as well as marketing materials
• Supervising work of junior staff, coaching and mentoring

To fill the role a candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

• Higher education (degree preferably in Law, Taxation or Economics)
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation
• Good understanding of tax litigation procedures
• Fluent English and Russian
• Good organizational and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask
• Stress resistance
• Good presentation skills
